Sergey Markelov, the head of physical security department, answered several questions to www.blokpost.ru

- Sergey, what might the resposibilities of guards be?

First of all the do their job according to the signed instructions of the guarded facility. They control the realization of normative documents which touch upon letting people in and out, setting on and off security,

Let's look at the main functions of the guards.

They are responsible for:

- security check-point

- taking and giving out keys of the guarded facility

- video security of the guarded fascility and the close territory

- calling the police, ambulance and techinical support in case of emergency

What they do:

- walk arond the sity in the daytime and at night

- check vehicles

- help the police in case of emergency

- call additional forces of the company or police

- arrest of the suspects or buglars

They don't let drunk people on the guarded site.

They might have more responsibilities if you wish, but they can't contradict with Russian legislative system.

- What is the period of setting the check-point and physical security?

It all depends of the clients' wishes. We have to see the facility of the client, agree on the costs, choose the guards, sign a contract. So it depends on the client when his facility will start to be guarded.
